Biowave Advantage is a protective layer in every Asana pad that works to protect women from the overgrowth of bad bacteria and yeast such as Escherichia Coli, Staphylococcu Aureus, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, and Candida. The technology helps with yeast infection prevention and it also protects against other pesky issues like
UTIs.

E. Coli is a type of bacteria that sometimes cause UTI’s, diarrhea and other illnesses. It can be found in the intestines of people and animals, in food, and in the environment.

S. Aureus is a type of bacteria that sometime causes serious infections (staph infections is redundant) and dangerou syndromes such as Toxic Shock Syndrome.

P. Aeruginosa is a type of bacteria that sometimes causes UTI’s and other dangerous illnesses such as pneumonia and meningitis.

Candida Albicans are a form of yeast that can overgrow and cause issues within the body. If overgrowth occurs, it can lead to
vaginal yeast infections and oral thrush.

Asana doesn’t offer tampons for a few
important reasons, many of which are related to health.

In general, tampons may:

• Leave behind fibers, altering the pH levels in the vagina
• Attract the overgrowth of bad bacteria that causing issues like yeast infections
• Accidentally tear or peel the vaginal wall
• Cause Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), leading to death
• Although Asana doesn’t offer tampons, the company does have a host of other period products to choose from.

All of our pads are biodegradable except for the pads bottom layer. Our packing is is also biodegradable and we use Soya ink, making our products eco-freindly.
